Paisley is celebrating 150 years in 2024! To celebrate this “Artistic River Village” milestone and showcase the talent of our local artists, we will be hosting a local art show in collaboration with the Paisley Artscape Society.

We are inviting local artists to create a piece of visual art “inspired by Paisley”. Amateur and professional artists are welcome to apply and pieces can be in any medium. Pieces do not have to be new, but they should be original work, not displayed at Bonfire on Queen previously.

The show will run from May 22 - August 25. Pieces will remain the property of the artists. 

Submission Requirements: Please contact the organizer to express interest in participating in the show by May 1, 2024. Work can be of any visual arts medium that can be hung. Original work only. Please include a brief description (1-2 paragraphs max) of how Paisley inspired your piece and a business card-sized tag with the piece name, your name and social media handles. 

Selection Process: We will endeavor to include all pieces submitted but the organizers reserve the right to turn away pieces that do not reflect the intent or spirit of the show. 

Submission Deadline: All work to be dropped off to Bonfire on Queen May 20-21.

Project Requirements: Maximum size - 48 x 48, but smaller preferred. We have limited display space. No minimum size. Groupings also allowed up to a maximum of 36 x 36. 

Exhibition Dates: May 22 - August 25, 2024
